Shooting Preserve Upland Bird Hunts

Come work your own dog or experience a guided hunt using champion dogs, in great cover designed to remind sportsmen of the "Good old Days."  Hunts for Pheasant, Quail, and Chucker are available September through April with reservation.  Our typical hunt in Logan County begins at our Clubhouse located on Salt Creek.  After signing in and picking your field, hunters can relax in the heated clubhouse and share stories of their recent adventures, or sharpen their skills by shooting some clays.

Corporate hunts with wild game meals are available. In Fulton County, overnight stays are available for large and small groups.  Consider our Lodge with conference room for your educational seminar or corporate retreat.

Trophy Illinois Whitetail Deer Hunts

Fulton County Illinois is known world wide for record setting trophy Whitetail Deer populations.  Our contiguous 750 acres of timbered cropland provides the textbook habitat, and has produced many trophy bucks. Here herd management, genetics, and great habitatcombine to produce excellent chances to take a quality trophy.

Our deer hunts are designed for experienced bow hunters.  Our Booking is through Illinois Trophy Bowhunters.  We offer bow hunts during the 3 weeks surrounding the rut.  We have set aside refuges to limit the pressure on the big bucks.  The accomodations are in our lodge and meals are provided.

Spring Wild Turkey Hunts

The timbered Cropland of Fulton County provides excellent habitat for large wild turkey flocks. Approximately half of our 750 contiguous acres are timbered with steep hardwood ridges and deep valleys.  In the Fall, during bow season, you can combine a deer hunt with a turkey hunt (bow or shotgun).  Relax in the Lodge or individual Cabin after an awesome hunt billy-goating up and down ridges chasing flocks of turkeys.

Dove Hunting

We look forward to September to open the hunting season with the traditional migration of doves through Central Illinois.  Our Sunflower field next to our pond and adjacent to Salt Creek attracts many doves.  Opening day is usually invitation only and celebrated with a "shore lunch" at noon.

 Waterfowl Hunting:

Duck and goose hunting is available on pond blinds or in flooded food plots.  Layout goose hunting is good in the late season.  Guides are available.  Contact us to find out whats flying.

 Paintball:

Come and set up in our clubhouse for the day.  Bring lunch and drinks and have a tournament in the Speedball Course or play in the large open timber with mowed trails.  CO2, markers, and masks are available for rent.
